Making history.

This vote feels like none other. I am filled with hope and exciting excitement (...and, dude, I'm still waiting for the Democrats to screw it up because if anyone can, they can, but I'm starting to believe that maybe, truly....)

I took pictures of my ballot, y'all. Because now I'm part of history too.

I heard this on NPR today, and I think it applies no matter our race, creed or color:

Rosa sat, so Martin could walk.
Martin walked, so Barack could run.
Barack ran, so our children could fly.

Whoa- you have many more candidates on your ballot than we do here.

I had tears when I voted yesterday. I also heard that on NPR and the blogs today. So true.

I'm so bummed! I wanted to take a picture of my ballot, but there was a rule about no cameras in the "polling place" and since it would have been super obvious what I was doing, what with the lack of curtain dividers, I didn't take one. I guess I can just steal yours and pretend its mine!
